Women's Elemination Rounds Start In World Championships 2017 Vienna

Women's Round of 32 Elemination Rounds start today here in FIVB Beach Volleyball World Championships 2017 at Donauinsel in Vienna.

2015 World Championship finalist Brazilian Taiana Lima and her partner Elize Maia won a though match against Ukranian duo Davidova - Shchypkova.

Ukranian girls took the first set 21-18, and so close to win the game with have several match points in the second set but Brazilians took the set 25-35.

Taiana Lima and Elize Maia took the tie-break with 15-11 and jumped up to the round of 16.

One of the though game of the day at Women's side was between Barazilian Maria Antonelli - Carol  and Australian Bawden - Clancy.

Brazilian girls won the match by 2-1 (20-22, 21-18, 15-12) to make into the Round of 16

Bawden (AUS) is attacking against Carol of Brazil

Canadian Olympian Sarah Pavan and her partner Humana-Parades won over 2015 World Championship gold medalist Brazilian Barabara and her partner (2015 World Champs silver medalist) Fernanda easily by 2-0 (21-16, 21-10)
